Can’t believe how many books you’ve read so far this year!!! I am way down on my ‘goal’ according to goodreads but the books I’ve been reading have been really long!! Current one is pushing 700 pages (it’s also hardback from library rather than kindle book). I think I read kindle books faster.

  3. Hi Jen – am fascinated to know why you bothered to read the two follow ups to Fifty Shades after only giving 1/5 to the first one? Don’t think I’d have bothered with the extra 1000+ pages if I’d not enjoyed the first one. Interested in your rating – usually we like fairly similar books, but obviously not on this occasion! Glad to hear your return to work went well. x

I wasn’t going to… but they were on my Kindle and I wondered about the story! I still don’t rate them any higher as I really struggled to get past the awful grammar and editing, but the sex scenes were… interesting! x
